A Year of Community Impact at Primus Lighting

At Primus Lighting, our commitment extends beyond architectural lighting solutions. We believe responsible businesses play an active role in strengthening the communities where they live and work. Throughout the year, our team supports initiatives focused on education, food security, children’s wellbeing, and environmental responsibility.

Each summer, Primus Lighting hosts its annual Back to School Supply Drive, helping local students begin the academic year equipped with essential supplies. Building on that foundation, we expanded our outreach in 2025 with additional seasonal initiatives designed to support families during the holidays. These included a Thanksgiving Turkey Drive working with the Santa Clarita Food Pantry and a Holiday Toy Drive supporting ABC Spark of Love in partnership with local California firefighters.

Our Thanksgiving Turkey Drive, working with the Santa Clarita Food Pantry, helped provide complete holiday meals to 41 families in the community. Partnering with a trusted local organization ensured donations were distributed efficiently and reached families facing food insecurity during the holiday season. This collaboration reflects our belief that meaningful impact is strongest when businesses work with organizations deeply connected to the communities they serve.

In December, Primus Lighting proudly supported the ABC Spark of Love Holiday Toy Drive, a long standing program led by California firefighters dedicated to bringing holiday joy to children in need. Toys collected by our team were delivered to Fire Station 126 in Santa Clarita, where firefighters coordinated distribution to local children. Through this effort, Primus Lighting helped donate 29 toys to children this Christmas.

Recycling With Purpose

Sustainability at Primus Lighting goes beyond waste reduction. Our internal recycling program transforms everyday environmental responsibility into tangible social and environmental benefits. Proceeds from recycling are intentionally reinvested to support both climate action and humanitarian causes.

Half of all funds raised are directed toward certified carbon offset programs, including Global Greengrants Fund and TerraPass, helping reduce environmental impact and support conservation initiatives worldwide. The remaining funds are donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and UNICEF, supporting pediatric care, global health programs, and emergency relief efforts for children and families.

Giving back is part of who we are at Primus Lighting. Our community programs are designed to be inclusive, allowing every team member to participate regardless of role. Each school supply donated, holiday meal provided, toy collected, and dollar raised through recycling represents a shared commitment to social responsibility.
